Welcome to KwikTuition.com! We’re thrilled to have you here. This page explains the rules and guidelines for using our platform. Think of these “Terms of Use” not as a scary legal document, but as the agreement that helps us keep KwikTuition a safe, fair, and effective place for everyone – students, teachers, and us.

By using KwikTuition.com, you’re agreeing to these terms. If anything here doesn’t sit right with you, please don’t use our services. We’ve tried to make them as clear and human-friendly as possible, but if you have any questions, just reach out!

1. Who We Are & What We Do

KwikTuition.com is an online platform that connects students seeking academic support with qualified teachers offering tuition services. We provide the tools for you to find each other, communicate, schedule, and manage bookings. Important: While we facilitate these connections, KwikTuition.com does not directly employ teachers or provide the tuition services ourselves. We’re the matchmakers, not the teachers!

2. Who Can Use KwikTuition?

  1. Students: If you’re looking for a tutor, you can create an account. If you’re under 18, we encourage you to use KwikTuition with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  2. Teachers: If you’re an educator ready to share your knowledge, you can create a teacher profile. You must be at least 18 years old and meet our qualification standards.

3. Your Account & Responsibilities

When you create an account on KwikTuition:

  1. Be Truthful: Please provide accurate and complete information. This helps us ensure a trustworthy community.
  2. Keep It Safe: You’re responsible for keeping your login details (username and password) confidential. Don’t share them! If you suspect any unauthorized use of your account, let us know immediately.
  3. One Account Per Role: Each person should have one student account and one teacher account (if applicable).

4. For Students: Finding & Booking Classes

  1. Finding Your Match: You can browse teacher profiles, review their qualifications, subjects, availability, and read reviews from other students.
  2. Booking a Class: When you find a teacher you like, you can send a booking request for their available classes or batches.
  3. Payment: To secure a booking, payment will be processed through our secure payment gateway.
  4. Generally Non-Refundable: Once a payment for a booking is successfully completed, the amount paid is generally non-refundable. Please double-check all details before confirming.
  5. Teacher Cancellation Exception: In the rare event that a teacher cannot provide the class or seat after you’ve paid, the booking fee will be returned directly to you by that specific tutor. Please note that KwikTuition’s commission or convenience fees from the initial transaction will be excluded from this refund.
  6. Your Dashboard: You can manage all your bookings and view their status in your personal Profile Dashboard.
  7. Respectful Conduct: Please engage with teachers and other users respectfully and professionally.

5. For Teachers: Creating Your Profile & Teaching

  1. Craft Your Profile: Your profile is your storefront! Please ensure all details are 100% complete and accurate, including:
    1. Your educational background and qualifications.
    2. Your contact information.
    3. Your teaching subjects and specializations.
    4. Your availability for tuition classes.
    5. Batch start dates and seat capacity.
    6. A professional profile picture and a compelling introduction.
  2. Verification: We may require verification of your identity and qualifications to ensure the safety and quality of our platform. Your booking fees will be paid to your given bank account once your profile undergoes full verification.
  3. Commitment to Bookings: When you accept a booking, you commit to providing the agreed-upon tuition service. If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from doing so, you are responsible for communicating this promptly to the student and refunding the booking fee (excluding KwikTuition’s commission/convenience fees), as outlined in Section 4.
  4. Professional Conduct: Always maintain a professional and respectful demeanor with students and their guardians.
  5. Content Accuracy: Ensure that any information you provide on your profile, including details about your classes, is accurate and not misleading.

6. Content on KwikTuition

  1. Your Content: You own the content you post on KwikTuition (like your profile text, messages, etc.). However, by posting it, you give us permission to display it on our platform and use it to operate and promote KwikTuition.
  2. Respectful Content: Do not post anything that is unlawful, offensive, discriminatory, or infringes on anyone else’s rights.

7. What’s NOT Allowed (Prohibited Conduct)

To keep KwikTuition safe and fair for everyone, please do NOT:

  1. Use the platform for any illegal or fraudulent activities.
  2. Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
  3. Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or services.
  4. Attempt to bypass our booking or payment system to avoid fees.
  5. Post spam, viruses, or anything that could harm our platform or other users.
  6. Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent.

8. Disclaimers (Important Legal Bits)

  1. Platform Only: KwikTuition.com is a platform for connecting. We are not responsible for the direct interactions, quality of teaching, or outcomes of classes between students and teachers.
  2. No Guarantees: We don’t guarantee specific academic results for students or a certain number of bookings for teachers. Success depends on many factors, including effort and individual circumstances.
  3. “As Is” Service: KwikTuition.com is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do our best to keep it running smoothly, but we can’t guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KwikTuition.com (and its founders, employees, etc.) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from: (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the services; or (c) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.

10. Resolving Disputes

If a disagreement arises between a student and a teacher, we encourage you to try and resolve it directly first. If you need our help, please contact our support team, and we’ll do our best to mediate fairly.

11. Changes to These Terms

We might update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. When we do, we’ll post the updated terms on this page and revise the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of KwikTuition.com after any changes means you accept the new terms.
